About the Author
Meghann Heberle is the author and creator of The Basin Buddies, a children’s picture book series inspired by the wildlife of the San Antonio River. She is also a learning and performance professional with over 16 years of experience and a lifelong animal lover.
She created The Basin Buddies to bring nature to life through meaningful stories that celebrate friendship, resilience, and curiosity. Inspired by the vibrant ecosystem of the San Antonio River and her appreciation for the natural world, Meghann hopes to encourage young readers to discover wonder in their own surroundings and build confidence as they grow.
She lives in Maryland with her family and their rescue cats and dog.
